In no particular order, here are the best dishes from casual restaurant one: Chilli’s!
1. 3 for $10.99
What to get: Arnold Palmer, Baked Potato Soup, Bacon Burger or Chicken Bacon Quesadillas
It’s a great meal deal for literally anyone! There are red meat options, chicken options, and even something for those who prefer do not eat any kind of meat. Although their options have gotten slimmer since COVID-19 hit, it’s still delicious and they’ve kept the classics for sure!
What you saw above is my favorite combination. I like a good Arnold Palmer (I mean come on now… who am I not right). Their Baked Potato Soup is just perfectly creamy and legit for saidand for. Their Just Bacon Burger is classic and delicious, all in the right places. Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas are something even the kids will enjoy with adults alike! Dig!
2. Roasted street corn
Yes, it’s a side. Yes, it is a dollar upgrade. But let me tell you… it is. million percent worth it. It’s even wrapped in foil. Yes, it’s messy. Yes, you’ll have it all on you and the table and the ground around you. But then again…it’s worth it!
3. Grilled Chicken Margarita
Here’s a slightly lighter option for those looking. I believe this is also part of the meal deal, as discussed in more detail above, so be on the lookout for that!
Here’s what’s in it: pico, tortilla chips, Mexican rice, black beans. Their website even perfectly says the following about this particular dish: “It’s only tastes like a guilty pleasure.
4. Queso Burger
Now, this particular burger was my official go-to on the entire 3 for $10 deal earlier in these articles. However, they have since changed that, made me sad and even made me cry and consider not ordering that particular meal again…never again. It’s corny, it’s delicious, it’s creamy…
Still not seduced? First of all… wow. Second, here’s what’s in it: smothered in white queso, crunchy tortilla strips and pico (I have mine on the side – too much for me with). Enjoy!
We went to Chili’s…nowIn no particular order, here are the best dishes from: Applebee’s!
1.2 for $24
What to get: Boneless BBQ Wings and Classic Bacon Cheeseburger
Whaaaat?! Yes, folks… here we are with another super-saving meal deal. It’s perfect for sharing a date, just like me and my wonderful boyfriend have shared many times now. Each person in it gets a main course and you both share an appetizer (if you can’t choose just one, take my advice…just take the second and pay the price…those later in this list particular restaurant are worth it…trust me, okay).
The boneless wings are pretty self-explanatory, but here’s what’s in the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger just for good measure: your choice of not one but of them slices of cheese and two slices of applewood smoked bacon. The patches/veg all come on the side – no need to ask for it without!
2. Brewery Pretzels and Beer Cheese Dip
This is one of those particular apps that fall into the category we discussed above…you just need to get the additional apps anyway. It’s warm, hot, gooey, super cheesy, slightly beer, and just super delicious.
Here’s what Cheese and Savory Pretzel Sticks are so good: Bavarian Soft Pretzel Sticks, BLUE MOON white cheddar beer cheese dip and honey dijon mustard sauce (ask for extra beer cheese – I didn’t and was sorry…luckily you won’t)!
3. White Queso and Chips Dip
There really isn’t much to say about this one. Except for the fact that it was super delicious, warm, hot, creamy, cheesy and literally every other positive adjective there too!
Here’s what it’s made of and why to get it: fudgy white queso and freshly made tortilla chips. Only have a budget for one thing on this list? To have. This. A. Please and thank you.
4. Whiskey Bacon Burger
I have to talk about a burger, don’t I? Any place that has one just needs to be looked into and tried if you ask me…thoughts? Anyone…… It’s super smoky, cheesy, meaty, sassy and delicious!
Here’s what’s in it and why it’s one of the best…anywhere on this menu and anywhere in general too…PS get excited y’all…it’s not good, it’s great: not one but two slices of Pepper Jack cheese, crispy onions , not one but two slices of smoked bacon, and whiskey barbecue sauce infused with fireballs. OfLily…and very western atmosphere!
We went to both Chili’s and Applebee’s…nowin no particular order, welcome to: olive garden!
1. Asiago Tortelloni Alfredo with Grilled Chicken
Like everything else on this particular restaurant’s list, I can go on for hours about the quality of their food (and that’s coming from someone who is very Italian and almost always prefers homemade Italian food to the most boring, tasteless and sour stuff).
Here we go…it’s super cheesy, creamy, mushy and overall a must-try dish here at Olive Garden. Here’s what it’s (super) deliciously made of: tortelloni stuffed with asiago, cooked in an alfredo sauce, a mixture of very cheesy Italian cheeses, toasted breadcrumbs, topped with sliced and freshly grilled chicken strips. Don’t miss…or you’ll cry!
2. Breadsticks with Alfredo Dip
Keeping it super short and sweet here again… not much to say when it’s right that Well!
Everyone gets breadsticks that land on the table… endless, remember? Anyway… what has just been added is the fact that you can now get dips. Forget the other two… take the one with Alfredo sauce. It’s the same sauce that comes with the tortelloni above!
3. Stuffed Ziti Fritta
Here’s an appetizer that will seriously blow your fucking socks off… yes, it’s just awesome!
It’s stuffed pasta noodles…as an app…say what? ! Here’s what it does though in a super simple and super delicious way: crispy, deep-fried stuffed ziti noodles, filled with not one but five different cheeses, served with alfredo and marinara sauces…for if you’re like me and can legitimately never decide on only one type of sauce anyway!
4. Grilled Chicken Margherita
It’s something delicious and a little healthier!
Here’s what it’s delicious about and something my dad can eat while eating here since he doesn’t eat pasta like I’m sure many other diners don’t too: two pieces of grilled chicken breast, topped of fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, classic basil pesto sauce and lemon garlic sauce (we ask for ours on the side… mostly). It’s also served with garlic parmesan broccoli (now that particular kind of garlic flavor I can handle, I’m sure it’s super light anyway, right?!
