The second offer in the Bristol Old Vic series of collaborations with city restaurants has been canceled.
The “Bristol Old Vic Presents” pop-up catering series kicked off this summer with the partnership of two culinary specialties, Pizzarova and Grano Kitchen, taking over the restaurant space.
Popular Westbury Park restaurant Littlefrench was due to host a pop-up event in Bristol Old Vic until February 2022.

However, due to “circumstances beyond their control” Bristol Old Vic and Littlefrench called off their collaboration.
Bristol Old Vic Executive Director Charlotte Geeves said: “We quickly realized the tremendous amount of organization, staff and time required to fit the highest culinary standards into the pressures of pre-show meals. .
“Mixing the two companies seamlessly to create a unique theatrical version of Littlefrench for visitors to Bristol Old Vic has proven impossible to achieve at the present time.
“We remain great admirers of each other’s work and we wish each other every success for the future.”
Chef Freddy Bird’s much-loved Littlefrench – renamed for the “littlevic” residence – was to serve a unique menu featuring seasonal dishes.
Bristol Old Vic “remains committed” to combining the theater with an on-site dining experience and has confirmed that it will be offering a new menu from October 21.
They also said anyone with restaurant reservations for October 18-20 will be contacted today.
