Enjoy a silver Subway aboard the new floating pop-up restaurant

Londoners can enjoy a waiter-served Subway aboard a new pop-up restaurant at West India Quay – but you’ll have to be quick.

A floating restaurant has been installed and will be open to the public for two days, offering a VIP experience close to what the jetset would appreciate in St Tropez and Ibiza.

Guests who want to add a touch of luxury to their lunch can book a table for free on board the world’s first Subway yacht and dine on the brand’s classic Meal Deal – a Footlong Sub, chips or cookie and a glass of champagne. – like a VIP.

The experience, straight out of an episode of Below Deck, will see guests greeted by the Captain with a glass of bubbly, warm towels upon arrival.

A DJ will play relaxing Ibiza tunes and guests will be offered free sunglasses and a spritz of a bottle of millionaire tanning mist to set the scene.

Orders will be taken at the tables by one of the yacht’s crew and lunch will be presented to guests under a silver cloche, with the option to choose from a menu of 8 subs, including chicken and BMT ® Italian bacon and Brie, served with a choice of crisps or cookie, and a selection of drinks.

Tables will be equipped with a service bell that will ring if customers require additional assistance.

The Subway will be open for dining in London on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 March 2022.

Tickets for a table for 2 people, for 1 hour, are free but visitors will need to book in advance.
