FINE Dining in Ubud from 08 to 11 December


Sthala, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud, Bali, a 5 star hotel managed by Marriott International, announced a groundbreaking pop-up dining experience to be held in the picturesque Sungai Restaurant overlooking the scenic Wos River.

promoted as “From Jakarta to Bali with good taste,” the four-day event will feature three rising stars of the Indonesian culinary scene from GOOD – a unique and popular pop-up dining establishment in South Jakarta. Led by three very talented and daring young celebrity chefs, GOOD offers a very limited number of 15 hard to secure seats each day of the week.

The three FINE chefs heading to Bali for the four-day Sthala engagement are:

Chief Nadya Puteri

Nadya began her culinary career working in several five-star hotels, including the Intercontinental Hotel in Sydney and Merivale Group Sydney as a pastry chef and in other kitchen roles before joining the FINE pre-opening team. His talent and culinary expertise has earned him many accolades, such as 1st runner-up in one of Indonesia’s most prestigious cooking competitions.

Chief Bryan Ferrysienanda

Originally from Indonesia, Bryan began his culinary training at several high-end establishments in Chicago, such as Langham Hotel and a French gourmet restaurant, in the role of grill chef. His expertise in preparing Western foods led him to become one of the top runners-up in Indonesia’s most prestigious cooking competition.

Chief Reynold Andhika Haris

In pursuit of a career in the kitchen, Reynold began his studies at taylors University of Kuala Lumpur, specializing in pastry and gourmet cuisine. While in Malaysia, Reynold deepened his culinary knowledge by working at the St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, a Contemporary Asian restaurant with several world renowned Michelin star chefs such as Chef Andreas Caminada and Chef Nelly Robinson.

The special one table d’hôtes menu with optional food and wine pairing will be presented every evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sungai Restaurant.

– 6 Hour Braised Wagyu Beef, Raw Beef Jus, Stacked Potatoes, Sautéed Broccolini, Kerupuk Gendar, Pickled Shallots, Pea Gimlet

WINE: Cabernet from both islands Merlot

Palate cleanser

– Cucumber & Yuzu Granite


Alaskan Klapper tart bomb (royal pie base, coconut custard, coconut meat, kenari dacquoise, date raisin jam, coconut meringue)

WINE: Pino de Bali, Fortified Wine
