Launch of a casual dining concept | North West Real Estate News

A new canteen-style bar and restaurant concept serving the classic comforts of home will launch next week in Manchester city centre.

The stables will be soft-launched in an industrial-style space in Enterprise City, near Spinningfields and Deansgate-Castlefield.

It is soft-launched from August 3-4 and serves dishes such as curry, pies, fried lunch and dinner.

Subsequently, the space will be open from Tuesday August 9 every Tuesday to Thursday to the public for lunch and dinner.

The stables are located on Lower Byrom Street, next to the Crystal Maze and the department’s bonded warehouse.

Once part of Granada Studios and a feature of Coronation Street, The Stables has been reimagined to include a contemporary bar and professional kitchen beneath its vaulted beams. This is to meet the needs of the thousands of workers who are preparing to move into the Enterprise City neighborhood in the months and years to come.

Phil Dove, Director of Catering at All Work & Social, said: “We set out to create a casual, canteen-style dining experience and we really did that with The Stables.”

Managed by All Work & Social, the venue is also available for event hire year-round – from corporate events and parties to weddings.
