If every neighborhood had a bar like this, we would be very happy. The laid-back bottle shop and bar combo, owned by the team behind hotspot Subi Juanita’s, is the perfect place to roost in winter with a drop of your choice and a pizza or three. Don’t blame us if you’re still seated four hours later. It’s that kind of place.

This place is lauded for having one of the best cocktail menus in WA, and we’d have to agree. The welcome addition to one of WA’s most popular tourist towns offers a thoughtful array of natural wines, sourdough pizzas and sharing plates, plus the refreshing holiday vibe we crave when we escape the great smoke.

The OG of WA craft beer venues continue to operate 22 years after opening in a large shed in Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbor that was a crocodile farm and housed Kookaburra II before being transformed into a world famous microbrewery. Although there has been talk of Little Creatures leaving its iconic home, there has been a stay of execution and the smiling cherub will continue to serve fresh seafood, wood-fired pizzas and tasty fries in its vast great hall, all washed down with classic beers. , including Pale Ale, the very first beer from Little Creatures that has followed the same recipe for two decades.
