Sophia’s lasagna is heating up at this pop-up “Golden Girls” restaurant

Last month, the news has fallen of a supposed Daddy’s Girls-themed pop-up restaurant that was heading to East 54th Street. This is no longer the case, but the loss of Midtown is our gain: golden girls kitchen will temporarily settle at the Seaport.

On December 7, the heartwarming restaurant operation will open its doors at sunny 19 Fulton Street, which will transform into a Miami-like setting inspired by Blanche, Rose, Dorothy and Sophia. Here is more information from Golden fanatics who started this ambitious enterprise:

This personalized and detailed dining experience is inspired by Miami’s favorite girls’ iconic hangouts, as well as other memorable moments from the beloved franchise.

Expect to be completely immersed in the world of Golden Girls!

There will be additional sides and drinks available for purchase, as well as an array of dessert choices, including plenty of cheesecake options, of course.

You can also take a seat at the Rusty Anchor Bar and choose from an assortment of specialty cocktails and mocktails centered around the beloved series.

Don’t forget to also take advantage of the photo ops to share: take a picture in Blanche’s boudoir, with a shag rug and a palm-print bedspread, or pretend to chat with the ladies via the yellow phone of the girls’ kitchen.

Exclusive products from The Golden Girls Kitchen will be available onsite to purchase and take home.

The kitchen already had a successful pop-up in Beverly Hills over the summer (and, yes, there are plenty of photos to show for it on their Instagram). Tickets for a 90-minute reservation are $40 per person and come with an entrée and a slice of cheesecake. Check out the menu below. And, hey, Sophia’s lasagna comes with garlic bread. and a gluten-free option!
